Leigh-on-Sea 10k
A Halloween themed, after dark, chip-timed 10km multi-terrain run through Two Tree Island, Belton Way and Old Leigh.
After an incredible sold out race in 2023 we are hosting another after dark spook-tacular on Sunday 27th October 2024. And this time, to celebrate our 15th year, there will be a 5k or 10k option!
Entries are now open to both distances but be quick!
Our Start/finish HQ will be in the car park behind Leigh-on-Sea Train Station, start time for both races is 6pm.

29 October 2023 Results:
Another spook-takluar after dark race took place with our largest field yet competing in this unique after dark, multi-terrain course.
With great thanks to all you that took part, our sponsors Run Active, Happy Stride and Tropicana Nights plus all the amazing volunteers and the best marshals in the business.
We were over the moon with the final results from our 10k race this year.
Congratulations to all who participated who helped to raise £5,500 with £5,000 going to the Finish Line Fund and £500 towards Essex Wildlife Trust.

30 October 2022 Results:
A spook-takular after dark race saw runners conquer our multi-train course. With great thanks to all participants, volunteers and sponsors Run Active we raised £3,500 towards our chosen charities this year: Little Havens and Trust Links. Plus we were also able to donate a further £250 to Essex Wild Life Trust.
Not only were spectators treated to a carnival of lights racing around Two Tree Island, along Marine Parade and through Old Leigh Town, they were also treated to a range of fabulous Halloween outfits. It truly made for an unforgettable evening with finishers welcomed back to the C2C station car park with a glass of fizz, a banana, homemade cakes and hot fresh Pizza.
2 January 2022 Results:
A triumphant inaugural Leigh-on-Sea After Dark 10k took place on Sunday 2nd January 2022. With thanks to all participants, volunteers and our kind sponsors at Run Active we raised a fabulous £2,000 towards our chosen charities this year: CRY – Cardiac Risk in the Young & Southend Hospital Trust – Oncology & Stroke Dept.
